Peggy Cole is the widow of G.F. Cole, who was one of A.R. Cole's sons. Like them, she achieved her own special reputation in pottery. In 1994, she was the featured artist of the 13th Annual Seagrove Pottery Festival. She is best known for her miniatures, small face jugs and tea sets. Although health problems have limited Peggy's current production, people continue to seek her out hoping to purchase recently made pieces or to ask for information about G.F. Cole and his work. |
